Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, Kindred Healthcare
Scott Nelson recently joined Kindred Healthcare as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, responsible for its transformation into a modern, center-led supply chain organization characterized by effective strategies, analytics, and governance for all categories of spend; integrated supply chain processes, systems, and controls; and superior supplier relationship management.
Prior to Kindred, Scott worked for Cardinal Health in a variety of roles including Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, where he oversaw the procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution of a vast portfolio laboratory and medical-surgical products to health care providers and home patients across the United States and Canada. Scott also spent over six years with Resource Optimization and Innovation (ROi), widely considered one of the most advanced and integrated provider-owned supply chain organizations in health care, where he was Chief Operating Officer.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and received his Ohio secondary mathematics educator license through Otterbein College in Westerville Ohio.
